Our Journey
The story of Rest Redeemer Ministries from its inception todate
Ministry Started
The ministry was started in 2017 but the vision was not yet very well spelt out. By then it was mostly a travelling ministry were we reached out, shared the gospel, counselled and prayed for people in their homes, hospitals or they came to us at home.
Pastoral Trainning Program
Three years after inception, the Lord made the vision clearer and bigger which was to reach out to spiritual leaders. This was aimed at strengthening their relationship with God and promoting unity among these leaders. It started as a fellowship that later translated into a structured training program for spiritual leaders.
Girl Child Redemption Program
Due to great demand and high levels of school drop outs because of poverty, on a small scale we started paying school fees and other dues for girls in the formal sector of education. Our first child completed primary school and is now in secondary school. A few others have also joined both formal and hands on training.
Rehabilitation Center
In March, the Ministry launched a rehabilitation center with the goal of transforming lives by raising leaders from among those society often overlooks or deems worthless. The center aims to restore purpose, empowering individuals to not only rebuild their own lives but also to inspire and uplift others in return.
Church and Community Outreach
After members from the rehabiliatation program gave their lives to Christ, none of them were willing to join other churches but rather insisted on attending church with the ministry. We then opened up a church and started a community outreach program as well, where we visit local bars and homes with the gospel.
